Meet the Morrows
Douglas Morrow, Pianist, Composer, Accompanist, Music Theater Music Director and Educator.
Dawn Morrow, Photographer, Educator, Vocalist, Origami paper wrangler, and Creative Artist.
Douglas Morrow, Colorado native earned his Bachelor’s degree of Arts in piano performance at University of Northern Colorado and Colorado Mesa University. Doug is a career musician of over 40 years. He is currently Adjuct faculty at Colorado Mesa University, where he works with the Music Theater department. He Music directs musical stage productions and accompanies all music theater students in private lessons and in performance based classes. Doug is the Pianist for “Mesa Out Loud”, CMU’s ambassador music group, and the Symphonic Rock group, the “Grand Junction Rockestra”, who’s performances benefit the Music department scholarship programs.
Dawn Morrow, Colorado transplant from California earned her Master’s degree in business from Colorado Mesa University. She’s worked in Long-term care industry for over 25 years. She is a self taught semi-professional photographer, Shooting nearly every subject such as Senior Photos and Actor/Actress Headshots to Severe Thunderstorm activity. When she’s not working on photos, she enjoys singing gospel music, folding and creating origami crafts, crafting her own line of greeting cards, painting and more. Dawn suffers from a rare cystic lung disease called Lymphangioleiomyomatosis and is an advocate for education, awareness and research for treatments and ultimately a cure.
2Morrows, Doug & Dawn met in 2004, and married in 2005. Doug has one son, Nicolas Morrow, who also enjoys performing in musical theater. Doug & Dawn became grandparents to Emerson Morrow in January of 2018.
